Honor is getting ready to show off its newest phone, the Honor Magic 8 Pro Air, on January 19 in China. This phone catches attention with its super thin design measuring just 6.1mm and weighing only 155 grams. It’s got some really cool technology and high-end features that should set it apart from others, and phone fans in Nepal are definitely going to want to watch out for this one.
Display & Design

The Honor Magic 8 Pro Air comes with a beautiful 6.3-inch OLED screen that shows 1 billion colors and runs at a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. You’re getting sharp visuals with a resolution of 1200 x 2640 pixels, which works out to around 460 ppi. The phone has a glass front and aluminum frame that gives it an expensive look while being tough enough for daily use. It’s also water resistant and supports both regular Nano-SIM cards and eSIM, so you’ve got flexibility there.
Performance
The Magic 8 Pro Air runs on the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip that’s built using a 3nm process. Its processor has one super-fast core running at 4.21 GHz, three cores at 3.5 GHz, and four more at 2.7 GHz. You’re getting Android 16 with Honor’s MagicOS 10 on top, and there are lots of storage choices – starting from 256GB with 12GB RAM, going up to 512GB options with 12GB or 16GB RAM, and even a huge 1TB version with 16GB RAM.
Camera

If you love taking photos, you’ll like the triple camera with a 50MP main camera that has a wide f/1.6 opening, plus stabilization to keep your shots steady. The camera has laser focus, a color sensor, and LED flash that help you take nicer photos. You can shoot videos in 4K at various speeds up to 120fps with stabilization and 10-bit recording. The 50MP front camera is also really good for selfies and can record 4K videos.
Battery
The Honor Magic 8 Pro Air fits in a big 5500mAh battery even though it’s so thin. The phone charges super fast with 80W wired charging, so you won’t be waiting around long to get back to full power. There’s also 5W reverse charging, which means you can help charge other devices if someone needs it, making this a handy phone for people who use their phone a lot during the day.
