Honor has officially launched the Honor Magic 8 Pro in Nepal and people are already talking about it. Following the big launches from Xiaomi and Vivo earlier this year, Honor Nepal has come in strong with one of the most loaded phones of 2026. The Magic 8 Pro brings a massive 7,100mAh battery, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a 200MP telephoto camera. For a phone launching at this price, that spec sheet is hard to argue with. Now let’s go through the Honor Magic 8 Pro Nepal launch, its price, specs and what the phone actually brings to the table.
- Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5
- 6.71-inch LTPO OLED 120Hz display
- 200MP Periscope Telephoto Camera
- 7,100mAh battery with 100W charging
Display & Design

The Magic 8 Pro comes with a 6.71-inch LTPO OLED screen with a 1256 x 2808-pixel resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is slightly smaller than the older model but Honor has cranked the brightness up to a claimed 6,000 nits peak which is honestly impressive. The circular camera bump at the back keeps that familiar Honor look going and with IP68 and IP69K ratings, this phone can take on dust and water without any worries.
Performance

The Honor Magic 8 Pro Nepal is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the same chip you will find inside the Xiaomi 17 Series. Day to day use feels very responsive and gaming or heavy multitasking is not a problem for this chip at all. The Nepal variant comes with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage running on MagicOS 10 built on Android 16. Worth mentioning that last year’s Magic 7 Pro came with up to 16GB RAM so that’s a slight step down on the base model but for most people it won’t make any real difference. There’s also a physical AI button on the side that opens the Yoyo assistant or works as a camera shutter which is a handy little addition.
Camera

This is probably the part most people are curious about. The Honor Magic 8 Pro packs three cameras at the back: a 50MP main camera with an f/1.6 aperture, a 200MP periscope telephoto lens and a 50MP ultrawide shooter. That 200MP telephoto is a big deal and puts this phone right up there with the best camera phones you can find in Nepal right now. One change from the Magic 7 Pro is that Honor has dropped the variable aperture and gone with a fixed lens this time around. It looks like Honor is putting more trust in its AI camera processing to cover that gap. There’s also a 50MP front camera for selfies.

Battery & Connectivity

The Honor Magic 8 Pro packs a 7,100mAh silicon-carbon battery which is a big step up from the 5,850mAh battery in the Magic 7 Pro. Honor says it can go two full days on a single charge and honestly with that battery size it’s easy to believe.
For charging you get 100W wired and 80W wireless though keep in mind the fast wireless charging only works with Honor’s own charger. For security there’s 3D face unlock and an under-display fingerprint sensor which covers all the bases.
