The Pura 90 Pro has a 6.6-inch LTPO OLED screen that runs anywhere from 1Hz to 120Hz depending on what you are doing. That keeps things smooth during scrolling and saves battery during lighter tasks. The screen hits FHD+ resolution at 2760 x 1256 pixels, 460 ppi and supports 1.07 billion colors with a P3 wide color gamut. The glass is second-generation Kunlun Glass which is tougher than what most phones use.

The phone is 8.2mm thin and weighs 213.5 grams. Color choices are Pink Guava, Orange Soda, Coconut White and Mulberry Black. It has glass on the front and back with an aluminum frame and both IP68 and IP69 water resistance ratings.

    Performance

The Pura 90 Pro runs on Huawei’s own Kirin 9030S chip. Huawei says it is 25% faster than the previous chip and brings a 200% jump in AI image processing through the NPU. You get up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage but no memory card slot so pick your variant wisely. The software is HarmonyOS 6.1 which now has a built-in AI assistant and tools like removing unwanted objects from photos. Day-to-day performance should feel snappy whether you are gaming, switching between apps or editing photos.

    Camera

The camera is where the Pura 90 Pro really shows what it can do. You get three rear cameras: a 50MP main shooter with a variable aperture of F1.4 to F4.0 and optical image stabilization, a 12.5MP ultra-wide at F2.2 and a 50MP periscope telephoto at F2.1 also with OIS. The telephoto supports 4x optical zoom and digital zoom goes all the way to 100x. Huawei uses its XMAGE system here along with the Red Maple color sensor for more accurate colors in photos.

Up front there is a 13MP ultra-wide selfie camera at F2.0 with autofocus and 4K video support. From close-up macro shots to far-away zoom photography, the Pura 90 Pro camera handles a wide range of situations well.

    Battery & Connectivity

The Pura 90 Pro has a 6,000mAh battery which should last most people well over a day on a single charge. Wired charging goes up to 66W and wireless charging tops out at 50W. There is also 5W reverse wired charging if you want to top up accessories.

On the connectivity side you get Wi-Fi 7 with dual-band support, Bluetooth 6.0 with L2HC audio, NFC and USB Type-C. GPS covers L1 and L5 dual-frequency with BeiDou, Galileo and NavIC support. BeiDou satellite messaging is also there but only works in mainland China. The sensor list covers side fingerprint, gyroscope, proximity sensor, infrared and more.
