Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G Overview
Display and Design
Infinix has clearly rethought how the Hot 70 Pro looks and feels. The phone comes in six rear finishes, spanning Thermo Orange, Mirage Green, Silk Glow Purple, Depth Ring White, Night Pulse and Dive Blue with glossy, textured and patterned treatments, and the panel is said to shift color under UV light after dark. Toughness has not been ignored either, with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance plus MIL-STD-810H certification covering everyday drops and splashes.
The screen itself spans 6.76 inches, using IPS LCD tech with FHD+ resolution, a smooth 144Hz refresh rate and 950 nits of peak brightness, keeping things easy to see under strong sunlight. Dimensions come in at 166.9 x 79.5 x 7.9 mm and 204 grams, a reasonable footprint given the battery size, while the flat sides and vertically stacked camera block give the phone a cleaner, more contemporary look than earlier Hot models.
The Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G also introduces the Active Matrix Cube, a small interactive panel on the rear that lights up for notifications, charging status and call alerts, bringing a flagship-style touch to the design.
Performance
Powering the Infinix Hot 70 Pro is the MediaTek Dimensity 7100, a 6nm chipset with four 2.4GHz Cortex-A78 cores and four 2.0GHz Cortex-A55 cores, paired with a Mali-G610 MC2 GPU. The chip favors consistent everyday performance over benchmark scores, so browsing, streaming, social apps and multitasking should all feel smooth, and casual to mid-tier games hold up well at medium to high settings, though the heaviest titles may need settings dialed back for steady frame rates.
Memory choices include 6GB and 8GB RAM matched with 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, plus a dedicated microSDXC slot for anyone needing more room later. Software runs on Android 16 with Infinix’s XOS 16 layered on top, adding AI-driven tools and a refreshed look, and Infinix has committed to up to three major Android upgrades, a welcome promise for buyers planning to keep the phone a while.
Camera
Photography duties on the Hot 70 Pro fall to a single 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and PDAF for faster focusing. Dual-LED flash, HDR and panorama modes round things out, and the rear camera can shoot video up to 1440p, a genuinely welcome inclusion at this price.
An 8MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture covers selfies and video calls, also capable of 1440p recording. Photos in low light will likely be the setup’s weak point, which tends to hold true across this price segment, though the Infinix Hot 70 Pro camera should turn in solid results for daytime shots, casual portraits and social posts.

Battery and Connectivity
Battery life is one of the strong points here, with the Hot 70 Pro built around a 6000mAh cell, which Infinix pegs at lasting through a full day of regular use and then some. The 45W wired charging gets the smaller battery variant to 50 percent in roughly 25 minutes, plus 10W reverse wired and bypass charging support.
On the connectivity front, the phone covers the essentials with dual Nano-SIM 5G support, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC and even an infrared port, a feature that has quietly disappeared from most rival phones. A USB Type-C port with OTG, a 3.5mm jack and stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio round out a well-equipped package for the segment.
