Nepal’s smartphone scene keeps getting better and the Honor X8d is the latest phone to join the list. The Honor X8d has officially launched in Nepal and it looks like a pretty good deal for 2026. You get a big 7,000mAh battery, a nice AMOLED screen and a 108MP camera all without spending too much money which makes it a phone worth every penny.
- Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 chipset
- 6.77-inch AMOLED 120Hz display
- 108MP rear camera with OIS
- 7,000mAh battery with 45W charging
Display & Design

The Honor X8d comes with a 6.77-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution (1080 x 2392 pixels) and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate which makes scrolling and video watching feel really fluid. The flat-frame design looks clean and modern and at just 7.5mm thin and 188g it sits comfortably in the hand. You get three color choices: Blue, Grey and Black. The phone also has an IP65 rating so a bit of rain or an accidental splash is nothing to worry about which is great for Nepal’s unpredictable weather.
Performance
The Honor X8d runs on the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 an octa-core chip built on a 6nm process. With 8GB of RAM and storage options going up to 256GB it handles daily tasks like social media browsing, YouTube and casual gaming without any trouble. One handy addition is the physical AI button on the side frame. You can set it up to quickly launch Google Lens, the flashlight and Honor AI shortcuts which turns out to be pretty useful in daily use. The phone runs MagicOS 10 on top of Android 15.
Camera

The camera setup on the Honor X8d is led by a 108MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, PDAF and OIS. There is also a 5MP ultrawide lens at the back and a 16MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls. In good daylight conditions the main camera produces clean and detailed photos. The ultrawide is basic but it works for wider group shots or scenery. Video recording goes up to 1080p at 30fps with gyro-EIS on both cameras. For everyday photography it gets the job done without much fuss.

Battery & Connectivity

The Honor X8d packs a 7,000mAh battery that comfortably lasts two full days on regular use. When it runs low 45W wired charging brings it back to 100% in about 90 minutes.
The phone supports 4G VoLTE and VoWiFi on both NTC and Ncell. It also supports Carrier Video Calling on NTC which lets you make video calls over 4G without using mobile data or Wi-Fi.
