Realme started 2026 with the Realme 16 Pro+, packing Samsung’s 200MP camera and a big 7000mAh battery. Designer Naoto Fukasawa worked on how it looks, giving it a nice premium touch. The phone came out in India and should reach Nepal soon. Let’s see what’s inside.

Display & Design

The Realme 16 Pro+ has a 6.8-inch curved AMOLED screen with 144Hz refresh rate, so scrolling looks smooth. Peak brightness goes up to 6,500 nits, which means you can use it easily in bright sunlight. The back is made from plant-based material that feels good when you hold it. You get three colors: Master Gold, Master Grey, or Camellia Pink (India only). Performance

Inside there’s Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB storage. Regular stuff like opening apps and browsing works fine. You can also play Call of Duty Mobile on high settings without any lag. The phone gets a bit warm when you game for a long time, but it’s not a big deal. It does what you need without slowdowns.

Camera

The camera setup is what makes the Realme 16 Pro+ interesting. You get three cameras on the back: a 200MP main camera, 50MP periscope telephoto, and 8MP ultrawide. Up front there’s a 50MP camera for selfies. You can take photos in Vibrant mode for bright colors or Natural mode for more realistic shots. There’s also Vibe Master Mode with 21 different styles to try. The telephoto camera takes clearer photos than you’d think. Night photos turn out okay, though they sometimes look too processed. LightMe and StyleMe let you edit your photos later.

Battery

The 7000mAh battery lasts really long. You can easily use it for a full day, or even longer if you’re not on your phone much. You get an 80W charger in the box. It charges up to 52% in 22 minutes, and takes around 56 minutes to charge fully. Pretty good when you’re running late.

Realme 16 Pro+ Price and Availability in Nepal

The Realme 16 Pro+ is already on sale in India. There’s no official word on the Nepal launch yet, but looking at how things usually go, it should show up in a few weeks. In India, prices are ₹39,999 for 8GB/128GB, ₹41,999 for 8GB/256GB, and ₹44,999 for 12GB/256GB. For Nepal, you can expect around NPR 69,999, NPR 74,999, and NPR 79,999. These are rough estimates—final prices might be a bit different depending on taxes and where you buy it. Ask at official Realme stores and authorized shops when it arrives.

The Realme 16 Pro+ has some nice improvements from last year.
