Realme P4x 4G Launched in Malaysia with 8,000mAh Battery, 50MP Camera and 120Hz LCD Display: Price & Specifications

Realme has given its P4x series a new sibling, and this one trades 5G for something many buyers value more: battery size. The Realme P4x 4G has just launched in Malaysia, bumping the battery up to 8,000mAh from the 7,000mAh cell found on the existing Realme P4x 5G. The launch is officially limited to Malaysia for now, but Realme P4x 4G Nepal availability is generating early interest, a trend consistent with the brand’s pattern of swiftly extending regional launches to the country.

⚡ Highlights:
  • Unisoc T7250, 4GB RAM
  • 6.8″ HD+ LCD, 120Hz, 700 nits
  • 50MP rear camera, 5MP front camera
  • 8,000mAh Battery with 45W charging

Display and Design

Up front, the phone uses a 6.8 inch IPS LCD panel with a waterdrop notch and HD+ resolution. The 120Hz refresh rate is the headline feature here, and at 700 nits of typical brightness, outdoor visibility should hold up reasonably well, even if it won’t compete with brighter flagship panels.

Realme hasn’t cut corners on durability either. The body comes in at 166.5 x 78.2 x 8.8mm and weighs 219 grams, built with a glass front over a plastic frame and back. IP64 dust and water resistance is included, along with MIL-STD-810H certification for shock resistance. None of that makes the P4x 4G rugged in the dedicated sense, but it does suggest Realme expects this phone to survive everyday clumsiness.

Performance

That bigger battery needs something efficient to power, and Realme has gone with the Unisoc T7250 for the job. It’s an octa core chip built on a 12nm process, pairing two Cortex-A75 cores with six Cortex-A55 cores, while the Mali-G57 MP1 handles graphics duties. This isn’t a chipset built for heavy gaming, but it’s a sensible match for a phone designed around endurance rather than raw speed.

Memory comes in 4GB RAM configurations, with a choice of 64GB or 256GB storage, and a microSD slot is there for anyone who runs out of space. On the software side, the phone runs Android 16 out of the box through Realme UI, with Google Gemini built in and reachable straight from the power button.

Camera

Realme kept the camera setup deliberately simple. A single 50MP sensor handles rear photography, supported by autofocus, LED flash, HDR, and panorama mode, with video capped at 1080p and 30fps. Up front, a 5MP selfie camera covers the basics at 720p video.

It’s not a setup built to impress camera enthusiasts, and Realme isn’t pretending otherwise. For everyday photos, video calls, and social media uploads, though, it should do exactly what most buyers in this price bracket actually need.

Battery and Connectivity

This is where the P4x 4G makes its real argument. The 8,000mAh battery is among the largest Realme has fitted into this series, and it’s paired with 45W wired charging that also supports PPS, PD, and QC standards. There’s even 10W reverse wired charging on offer, handy for topping up smaller accessories in a pinch.

Realme says the battery can power close to 10 hours of continuous gaming, a claim backed by an 11,124mm² cooling system meant to keep things from overheating during longer sessions. Elsewhere, the phone covers the connectivity basics well: dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C with OTG, GPS, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Price and Availability in Nepal

Malaysia gets the Realme P4x 4G’s 4GB /256GB version for MYR 799, in either Rally White or Phantom Blue. Convert that to Nepali rupees and you’re looking at somewhere around NPR 25,000, but treat that as a ballpark figure only. Realme hasn’t said anything yet about an official Realme P4x 4G Nepal launch.

Conclusion

The Realme P4x 4G isn’t trying to be a flagship, and it doesn’t need to be. Its appeal comes down to one thing: a battery big enough to make charger anxiety a non-issue, backed by a smooth 120Hz display and a camera that covers the essentials without overpromising. For now, Malaysia gets it first. Whether a Realme P4x 4G Nepal release happens remains to be seen, but if this phone does arrive locally, its combination of battery life and price point could make it a genuinely appealing option for budget-conscious buyers.
