The Redmi K100 has a 6.83-inch flat OLED screen with a 2772 x 1280 resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. Touch reporting reaches 480Hz, and instant touch sampling goes up to 3,500Hz, so quick taps and swipes in games should feel immediate. The panel supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, with peak brightness above 3,000 nits for outdoor use.

To go easy on the eyes, Xiaomi added DC dimming and circularly polarised light technology. The phone has a rounded metal frame, slim bezels and a flat camera housing. It is 8.65mm thick, weighs 234.5g, and carries IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings. It comes in Black, Snow Rock White and Firefly Green.

Performance and Software

The Redmi K100 runs on the 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, backed by up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. Xiaomi also added its D2 gaming chip, which handles super-resolution and frame interpolation. The company says native 165fps works in over 40 games, and frame interpolation in more than 100 titles, depending on updates.

Cooling gets real attention here. The phone uses a 3D circulating cold pump system with over 12,000 mm² of high-conductivity graphite. It pulls heat away from the chip so performance stays steady in long gaming sessions. On the software side, HyperOS 4 and Super XiaoAI 2.0 promise faster app launches, better memory management and smoother multitasking.

Camera and Audio

The Redmi K100 goes for a simple dual rear setup. The main camera is a 50MP Light Hunter 800 sensor, 1/1.55 inches in size, with an f/1.68 aperture and OIS. The large sensor and bright lens should help in dim places, and the stabilisation keeps handheld shots and videos steadier. Next to it sits an 8MP ultrawide camera for group photos and wide landscapes.

Video is handled well on paper. The rear cameras can shoot up to 8K at 30fps, and 4K goes up to 60fps. Slow-motion clips go up to 960fps at 1080p. For selfies and video calls, there is a 20MP front camera that records 1080p video. There is no telephoto lens, so zoomed photos may not match more camera-focused phones.

The phone has stereo speakers that are tuned by Bose, with Dolby Atmos support. Games, videos and music should come out fuller and clearer than on a basic speaker setup. Xiaomi has not shared speaker wattage yet, so real-world loudness will only be clear once reviews arrive. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack. Wired headphones will need the USB Type-C port, and wireless users can rely on Bluetooth 5.4.

The phone packs a 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, and Xiaomi says it can last up to 2.43 days on one charge. It is the company’s first phone with a cell this large. Charging runs at 100W wired, with 27W reverse wired charging for topping up other gadgets. Bypass charging sends power straight to the phone while gaming, which cuts heat and battery wear.

For connectivity, buyers get 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, an IR blaster and a USB Type-C port. Navigation covers GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, QZSS and NavIC. Unlocking is handled by an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.

Conclusion

The Redmi K100 is built for people who play games and hate carrying a charger. The 10,000mAh battery is the main reason to look at it, and the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, 165Hz OLED screen and cooling system give it the power to match. Add Bose-tuned speakers, Wi-Fi 7 and strong dust and water protection, and the package feels complete for the price.

There are a few trade-offs. The phone weighs 234.5g, the camera setup has no telephoto lens, and there is no 3.5mm headphone jack. Nepali buyers also have no official launch date or local price yet. If it does arrive, the Redmi K100 could be one of the most interesting gaming phones in its range, so keep an eye out for official news and early reviews.
