    Display & Design

The Vivo Y37+ has a 6.74-inch flat LCD screen with 1600 x 720 pixel resolution. The brightness goes up to 1000 nits, so using it outside in daylight is not a problem. The 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate make the screen feel quick and responsive while scrolling. The phone comes in three color options: Obsidian Black, Glaze Blue & Sunrise Gold and it has an SGS-certified drop resistance rating. The frame is plastic and the back is made from composite material.

    Performance

The Vivo Y37+ uses the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip made on a 6nm process. Two of its cores run at 2.4GHz for heavier tasks and six run at 2.0GHz for lighter ones, with a Mali-G57 GPU handling graphics. The phone has 8GB RAM and 256GB storage using the newer UFS 2.2 standard, which is faster than the eMMC 5.1 storage in the regular Y37. You can also add up to 8GB of virtual RAM through Vivo’s Memory Fusion feature.

It runs OriginOS 5 on top of Android 15. The interface is straightforward, and it comes with security features including anti-fraud protection built in. For day to day use like watching videos, browsing or casual games, the phone handles things well enough.

    Camera

The back camera is a 13MP shooter with autofocus, f/2.2 aperture and 10x digital zoom. You get shooting modes like Night, Portrait, Panorama, and Pro, and videos can be recorded in 1080p. Up front, you get a 5MP fixed focus camera that does the job for casual selfies and video calls. The camera section is where this phone struggles a bit. Phones like the Redmi Note 15 come with 50MP main sensors and ultrawide lenses at a similar price, so the Y37+ clearly loses out on that front.

    Battery & Connectivity

The 6000mAh battery is probably the best thing about this phone. Vivo claims it stays in good shape for up to five years of regular use. It charges at 44W and also supports OTG reverse charging, meaning you can use the phone to top up another device when needed.

For connectivity, you get 5G, dual Nano-SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS and an infrared blaster. The 3.5mm headphone jack is still there, which many users will appreciate. The fingerprint sensor sits on the side of the phone.

Vivo Y37 Plus Price and Availability in Nepal

The Vivo Y37+ went on sale in China at CNY 1,599, around $230 USD, for the 8GB and 256GB version. No global launch date has been announced yet, but if it comes to Nepal, the expected Vivo Y37+ price in Nepal is around NPR 40,000. Vivo regularly brings its phones to Nepal, so there is a fair chance this one shows up here too.

    Conclusion

Looking at the full picture, the Vivo Y37+ offers a big screen, newer storage technology and a large battery at a reasonable price. The camera is where it falls short compared to rivals, but for someone who mostly needs a phone for calls, streaming and everyday use, it covers the basics well. If the Vivo Y37+ Nepal launch happens, it will likely attract buyers looking for a budget phone under NPR 40,000.
