Honor just launched the Honor X6d in Nepal and it’s looking pretty solid for the price. This phone started as the Play 60A in China but got renamed for our market. What grabbed my attention? It’s packing 5G, a decent 50MP camera and a battery that won’t die by lunchtime. Let’s see if it’s worth your money.
Display & Design

You’re getting a big 6.75-inch screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, so scrolling through Instagram or watching videos feels smoother than older phones. Yes, it’s 720p resolution, but on a budget phone, that’s normal. The design won’t win awards – there’s a chunky bottom bezel and that waterdrop notch – but it’s light at 186 grams and comes in Midnight Black or Ocean Cyan.
Performance
The Dimensity 6300 chip inside won’t break any speed records, but it doesn’t need to. WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok – these all run without issues. You get 4GB RAM and 256GB storage, so space isn’t a problem. It runs Android 15 with Honor’s MagicOS skin. Just don’t expect smooth performance with heavy games.
Camera
The 50MP main camera is a genuine upgrade from what we usually see at this price. Will it compete with flagships? Not a chance. But for social media posts, family photos and everyday snapshots, it works well. The 5MP selfie camera is basic – good enough for video calls with family but nothing special.
Battery
That massive 5,260mAh battery is probably the phone’s best part. You’ll easily get through a full day, maybe even a day and a half with lighter use. Honor hasn’t said anything about fast charging speeds, so charging times will be average. For connections, you get 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3 and USB-C charging port.

Conclusion
The Honor X6d won’t replace your laptop or gaming console. For 22k, you get 5G, a 50MP camera and a battery that lasts all day. Messaging, scrolling, taking photos – it does these without lag. If you’re a student wanting 5G or just don’t want to drop 40-50k on a phone, give this a look.
