Nubia, the gaming arm of ZTE, now has two versions of the Neo 5 GT on sale in Nepal. The standard Nubia Neo 5 GT came first with a built-in cooling fan. The new Nubia Neo 5 GT Liquid Cooling Special Edition adds a liquid cooling loop on top of that fan.
Both phones are made for mobile gamers and younger users who want a powerful phone. This article covers the full specs, key features, and official Nepal price of each model.
- 6.8-inch 1.5K AMOLED, 144Hz, 4500 nits
- MediaTek Dimensity 7400, 12GB RAM, 256GB storage
- Built-in cooling fan, plus AquaCore liquid cooling on the Special Edition
- 550Hz Neo Triggers 5.0
- 6210mAh battery with 80W fast charging
Display & Design
The Nubia Neo 5 GT has a big 6.8-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. Scrolling and gameplay feel smooth, and the 4,500 nits peak brightness keeps the screen easy to read in direct sunlight.
SGS Eye Care certification helps reduce eye strain during long gaming sessions. The back is flat with no camera bump, and RGB lighting on the back reacts to what happens in the game. The 90-degree charging cable also stays out of the way while playing.
The Special Edition keeps the same 6.8-inch 144Hz display. Its clear back panel shows the coolant moving inside the phone.
Performance
The Nubia Neo 5 GT runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400, a 4nm chip paired with LPDDR5 memory at 6,400 Mbps. The NeoTurbo Engine helps keep frame rates steady in heavy games.
A 360-degree Game Antenna holds a strong signal in any grip. Nubia has confirmed 120 FPS certification on Garena Free Fire and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and 90 FPS support on Delta Force after the Mid-Season update.
The Special Edition uses the same chip, 12GB RAM, and 256GB storage in Nepal. The real difference is how well it holds that performance during long sessions.
Active Cooling
The standard Nubia Neo 5 GT has a built-in active cooling fan, which no other phone in this price range offers. It comes with a 29,508 mm² cooling area and a Through-Flow Duct Design that pushes air straight over the CPU and battery.
This keeps temperatures in check and prevents the performance drops that many phones in this segment suffer during long sessions.
Nubia Neo 5 GT Liquid Cooling Special Edition: AquaCore Cooling
The Special Edition goes a step further with the AquaCore Cooling System. Nubia calls it the first and only liquid and air dual active cooling system in its class.
A piezoelectric micropump and a three-layer cooling film keep a non-conductive coolant moving through the phone. The coolant pulls heat away from the main components, and the fan pushes that heat out of the body.
The total heat dissipation area grows to 33,652 mm², which combines a vapor chamber, graphite, and liquid cooling. Nubia says a one-hour heavy gaming session kept the peak temperature at 38.9°C with an average of 119.96 FPS.
Camera
Cameras are rarely the focus on a gaming phone, but the Neo 5 GT does a decent job. It has a 50MP main camera with AI support and a 2MP auxiliary sensor, which together give sharp, well-detailed photos in good light.
The front has a 16MP camera that works well for video calls and content creation. AI Memory, AI Image and Text Generation, and AI Translate make daily use more practical. Both versions share the same cameras.
Battery
The Nubia Neo 5 GT packs a dual-cell 6,210 mAh battery, one of the largest in any phone right now. It charges at up to 80W, while EU buyers get 45W PD charging.
The 5% Extreme Mode adds about 23 more minutes of gameplay on the standard model, or around 29 hours of standby from an almost empty battery. Nubia says the Special Edition can stretch that to up to 30 minutes.
Bypass Charging lets the phone run straight from the charger during gaming, which helps protect the battery over time.
Triggers, AI & Other Features
The 550Hz Neo Triggers 5.0 support four-finger controls with under 5.5ms latency and a 3,049Hz touch sampling rate. Magic Touch 3.0 keeps the screen responsive even with wet or sweaty hands.
AI Game Space 5.0 keeps all gaming settings in one place. AI Copilot Demi 2.0 adds a Gaming Coach, a Gaming Chatbot, and Auto-Chat replies so players can stay focused.
Stereo speakers with DTS:X Ultra and an X-Axis linear motor make games feel more immersive. All of this is also on the Special Edition.
