Honor X9e S Overview
Design and Display
The Honor X9e S comes in a dual-tone design with three color options: Dawn Orange, Midnight Black, and Glacier White. It measures 161.9 x 76.1 x 7.76mm and weighs 196 grams. The build is tough too. It has an IPX9K rating for splashes, rain, and high-pressure water. Honor says it survives 2.5-meter drops in its lab tests, helped by six cushioning layers under the tempered glass.
The Honor X9e S display is a 6.79-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It supports 3840Hz PWM dimming and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage. This 120Hz AMOLED display keeps scrolling and video smooth. The high-frequency dimming should also be easier on the eyes.
Performance
The Honor X9e S runs on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 octa-core chip with an Adreno 810 GPU. The CPU has one A720 core at 2.3GHz, three A720 cores at 2.2GHz, and four A520 cores at 1.8GHz. RAM is 8GB and storage is 256GB, the only configuration on sale.
The phone ships with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. MagicOS 11 has not reached global markets yet, so this version makes sense for now. Daily apps, social media, and casual games should run comfortably on this chip, which is common across Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 phones.
Camera
The rear setup has a 50MP main camera and a 5MP ultrawide lens inside a round module with an LED flash. It also offers 10x digital zoom. The Honor X9e S camera covers everyday shots without asking for much effort from the user.
Selfie fans get a 16MP front camera with portrait mode, moving photo, smile capture, mirror reflection, and gesture control. Editing tools include AI eraser, AI expression, AI reflection removal, smart cutout, and AI upscale. Quick touch-ups need no extra app.

Battery and Connectivity
The 8,560mAh cell supports 80W wired charging. Honor claims up to three days of use on one charge and up to six years of reliable performance. For buyers hunting a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 phone with big battery, this Honor phone with 8,560mAh battery is an easy pick.
The Honor X9e S supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC, with dual speakers for audio. The USB-C port runs at USB 2.0 speeds, so large file transfers will feel slow. An optical fingerprint scanner sits under the display.
