- 6.8-inch 1.5K 120Hz LTPO OLED display

- 5,700mAh battery with 100W wired charging
Huawei Pura 90 Plus Overview
Design and Display
The Huawei Pura 90 Plus keeps the familiar triangular camera island, but the body feels different from its siblings. It features a curved metal frame and rounded back instead of the flat edges of the Pura 90 Pro and Pro Max. Weighing approximately 220 grams, Huawei says the design offers better texture and a more comfortable grip in the hand.
The quad-curved display on the Huawei Pura 90 Plus is a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED panel with a 2848 x 1276 resolution. The refresh rate adjusts from 1Hz to 120Hz, with 1440Hz PWM dimming and 300Hz touch sampling. A small punch-hole holds the selfie camera. Kunlun Glass 2 protects the screen, and IP68 and IP69 ratings cover dust and water. Colours are Obsidian Black, Snow White, Sunset Purple and Dawn Gold.
Performance and Software
The Kirin 9025 debuts in this phone. Huawei claims its combined hardware, software and cloud tuning lifts overall performance by about 19 percent. Some early reports call the chip an overclocked Kirin 9020, so independent benchmarks will show how much real gain it brings.
The Huawei Pura 90 Plus runs HarmonyOS 7 with 12GB of RAM and 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of storage. Huawei’s Super Storage feature is said to free up to 110GB on the 1TB model. The update also brings a smarter Celia assistant with agentic skills, plus dynamic 3D wallpapers and lock screen options.
Camera
Photography is the main selling point here. The Huawei Pura 90 Plus has a 50MP main camera built around a 1-inch type sensor, with a variable aperture and optical image stabilisation. This larger sensor should help with low-light shots, sharper detail and natural background blur in portraits.
The rear panel adds a 48MP periscope telephoto with OIS and 4x optical zoom, a 40MP ultra-wide, and a 1.5MP Red Maple multispectral sensor for better colour accuracy. A 13MP front camera handles selfies. XMAGE Style, AI Pose Recommendation and AI Assisted Composition help with framing. Super Night Scene uses multi-frame processing and AI noise reduction to brighten dark scenes.

Battery and Connectivity
The Huawei Pura 90 Plus carries a 5,700mAh battery. It supports 100W wired and 80W wireless charging, so a quick top-up takes little time. Reverse wired and reverse wireless charging are also listed, which lets the phone power earbuds or a watch in a pinch.
Connectivity covers Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC and USB Type-C 3.2. NFC makes tap-to-pay and quick device pairing possible. An IR blaster lets the phone control a TV, AC or set-top box. Stereo speakers and a side fingerprint sensor are included. Two-way BeiDou satellite messaging works only in China.
